We are recruiting for a Regional Membership Manager to join our team in the Midlands.
Made in the Midlands together with Made in Yorkshire ( www.madeinyorkshire.com www.madeinthemidlands.com ) is a membership business with more than 600 customers from the manufacturing sector. We support members with a unique digital platform, a major annual trade exhibition, weekly best practice visits and networking events.
We have an exciting opportunity for a high calibre and experienced sales professional to join our team. It is essential that the successful individual has an extensive and proven track record of success in a similar position. An insight into and understanding of UK manufacturing would be an advantage. Based in Birmingham, with extensive travel across the Midlands.
Develop our membership base in the Midlands
Working with our account management team, ensure existing members receive excellent client care
Working with our Events team, ensure that we communicate regularly with our membership to promote upcoming events and, of course, our major industry exhibitions
Deliver, if not exceed your personal financial targets and KPIs.
Skills & Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years sales experience with a proven track record of success
Experience of working with and influencing clients at director level is essential
Insight into and understanding of UK manufacturing is a distinct advantage
Customer centric sales ethos is critical
Strong numerate and analytical skills
Strong emotional intelligence and excellent communication skills at all levels
Good understanding of key business areas, including solid commercial acumen
High degree of self-reliance and self-motivation
Full and clean driving licence
Target and performance driven with a strong focus on results
Solution driven not problem focused
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including persuasion, negotiation and relationship brokering
Effective planning and organisational skills
Resilient and able to adapt to change positively
Pro-active, positive, energetic and able to motivate other team members
