We are recruiting for an Operations Manager to join the senior management team based at our Headquarters at Innovation Birmingham’s Digital Campus (former Science Park). This role will report to the Finance Director and will be responsible and accountable for the overall management of operational efficiencies in the business, HR and improving productivity.
First Orchard is a holding company for Made in the Midlands and Made in Yorkshire (www.madeinthemidlands.com) (www.madeinyorkshire.com) we are a membership business with more than 500 customers from the manufacturing sector. We support members with a unique digital platform and microblogging service, in addition to hosting weekly best practice factory tours, a major annual trade exhibition and social events.
We have offices in Birmingham and Leeds, although this role is predominantly based in the Midlands you will be expected to oversee operations in Yorkshire and to travel when needed to our Leeds office.
What we are looking for
We are looking for an individual with proven experience of within an Operations Management role or HR, you will be highly organised, proficient user of technology and able to effectively manage and oversee operations and people.

Hours : 5 days per week, Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm but would consider 3/4 days pro rata.
Salary: up to £35k per annum
Holidays: 20 days per year holiday plus bank holidays
